Candidates should work in one of the areas of fundamental biology covered by the Institute. Applications from individuals using quantitative and interdisciplinary approaches are particularly welcome. The successful applicants will be selected based on their scientific excellence and their potential to complement and synergize with existing research within the Institute. Applications both at the junior and senior levels will be considered.

The IJM benefits from a lively collaborative scientific environment, which is supported by excellent core facilities providing state-of-the-art light and electron microscopy, flow cytometry, proteomics, high throughput genomics and an animal house. Prior to their arrival at the IJM, successful applicants should have obtained a permanent position with the CNRS or the Université de Paris and have secured funding. The Institute will provide strong support and assistance with these applications to the successful candidates.
